bare trees, a crow shape
neatly cut out of the snow

About the Author
“Chloe Morrish writes excellent haiku and that’s rarer than you might think. (It’s an easy form to get wrong.) She has the haiku eye that sees things clear, and the skill to catch the moment in a few simple brushstrokes of language.” Alan Spence (Editor of Scottish Poetry Library’s Best Scottish Poems 2007)
After being based in Glasgow for many years, Chloe Morrish now lives in Braemar. She has enjoyed being part of writing groups such as Donny O’Rourke’s classes, the MLitt in St Andrews and the St Mungo’s Mirrorball Apprenticeship scheme. She has two pamphlets published, ‘Three Little Ninjas’ and ‘Snow’, a small collection of haiku.
